**External Job Description**: - Position Title:Executive SBU, Mini SBU & Location: CFIP TE - Halol Operations Position Purpose: Production Planning, Machine Scheduling Experience: 5-6 yrs - Competencies Required: - 1) Plans, prepares, issues, and controls production schedules and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of approved materials timed to meet production requirements. 2) Reviews capacity and develops a capacity report to identify time periods when capacity could impact production’s ability to meet demand. 3) Responsible for planning the implementation of Engineering Change Orders. 4) Coordinates interdepartmental activity with quality assurance, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, inventory control, traffic, etc. 5) Perform analysis that supports defining the roadmap for production capacity increases/change. 6) Respond to unanticipated changes—e.g. production shortfall vs. schedule or material shortages: provide information, impact assessment, and options to downstream shops, revise production shifts and or mix as needed. 7) Updates planning parameters to maintain appropriate inventory levels and production efficiency. 8) Understands how to navigate and operate a materials management system (ERP/MRP system knowledge). 9) Inventory analysis and drive/control aging inventory.
