Job Description: Indian and Chinese Cook (Experienced)

Position: Indian Cook (Central Kitchen Bulk cooking)

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years

Location: Kanjurmarg

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **1. Cooking and Food Preparation**:_
- Prepare a wide range of Indian dishes, including curries, breads, rice dishes, appetizers, and Chinese Dishes
- Maintain consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation of all dishes.
- **2. Menu Planning and Innovation**:_
- Assist in planning and updating menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences.
- Introduce innovative dishes while staying true to traditional Indian flavors.
- **3. Ingredient Management**:_
- Source, manage, and store Indian spices and other essential ingredients.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, authentic, and of high quality.
- **4. Kitchen Hygiene and Safety**_:

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with regulations.
- **5. Team Collaboration**:_
- Work effectively with kitchen staff and assist in training junior cooks in Indian cuisine.
- Coordinate with management to meet customer expectations and address feedback.
- **6. Time Management**:_
- Deliver food promptly without compromising quality, especially during peak hours.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Proven experience of 5+ years as an Indian Cook in a restaurant, catering service, or similar setting.
- Expertise in preparing North Indian, South Indian, and regional specialties.
- Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Basic understanding of English/Hindi for communication within the team.

- Education
- Experience in handling bulk cooking for events or catering services.

**Compensation**:
Competitive salary based on experience

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
