**JD**-**Customer Service Executive in Freight Forwarding**:

- Call regular customers to check if any fresh bookings in pipeline
- Once cargo planning received, check with sales person for rate confirmation
- Plan vessel according to cargo readiness and vessel availability (consult sales)
- Once vessel decided, ask ops team to place booking
- Confirm buy rate with sales/pricing
- Once booking received from Ops, forward to the customer
- Ask customer for pick up status. Update same to the liner (if needed)
- Handover VGM, load list and other details to Ops team
- Monitor that SI has been given y customer before cut off
- Check on gate in status. In case delays, inform ops team for SSR/VIA
- Send on board confirmation
- Intervene if any line related issues or delays and try to sort it out. If not possible at your level, involve the sales person or then management
