**Project** Description**:
We have an ambitious goal to migrate big legacy Retail Platform based on Oracle ATG framework and Informix Database to Spring Boot microservices for a big retail company.

Solution is implemented by several Scrum Teams which focused on different features.

T5: This team is primarily responsible for managing the cart and how all the promotions and coupons that are tied to any given user's shopping cart are presented on the various websites.

T7: This team is mainly focused on Elasticsearch Data Ingestion, focusing on processing all the data so that the website has a fast and consumable data for the web and mobile experiences. In addition, this team also helps to manage data file exports for third parties and SEO pages.

**Responsibilities**:
DBA who is capable of supporting HA (high available) Postgres environments. Familiar with Citus is a plus used as our high availability solution for Postgres. Familiar with migrations from on-premise Postgres HA clusters to Microsoft Azure cloud services. Individual should understand the ins and outs of database physical and logical replications, clustering, mirroring, and high availability. We also expect the DBA to be able to troubleshoot urgent production issues quickly and effectively. The DBA will focus on Postgres optimization, efficiency, durability, and 24/7 availability. The DBA should have experience with Microsoft Azure and running Postgres in the cloud

**Skills**:
Must have
- Minimum 3 years of experience as PostgreSQL database administrator
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL required
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Excellent communication skills are a must for this role as that person will be working with multiple stakeholders.

Nice to have
- Experience with Informix is a plus.
- Experience with Citus High Availability is a plus.
