**Job Title: Career Counselor**

**Overview**:
As a Career Counselor, you will play a vital role in guiding individuals through their career development journey. You will assist clients in exploring career options, identifying their strengths and interests, and developing strategies to achieve their professional goals. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a deep understanding of career development theories and resources.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Individual Counseling**: Provide one-on-one counseling sessions to clients to assess their skills, interests, and values, and help them identify suitable career paths.
- **Career Assessments**: Administer and interpret career assessment tools to help clients gain insight into their strengths, personality traits, and preferences.
- **Goal Setting**: Collaborate with clients to set realistic short-term and long-term career goals based on their interests, skills, and market demands.
- **Job Search Strategies**: Offer guidance on job search techniques, networking, and utilizing online job boards and professional platforms.
- **Interview Preparation**: Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to help clients improve their interview skills, including techniques for answering common interview questions and addressing potential weaknesses.
- **Career Workshops and Seminars**: Organize and facilitate workshops, seminars, and group sessions on various career-related topics such as job search strategies, interview skills, and professional networking.
- **Stay Updated**: Stay abreast of current trends, labor market information, and advancements in career development theories and tools to provide up-to-date guidance to clients.
- **Networking**: Develop and maintain relationships with employers, industry professionals, and alumni networks to create opportunities for clients and stay informed about industry-specific hiring needs.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification in career counseling or related areas (e.g., National Certified Counselor, Certified Career Counselor) is advantageous.
- Previous experience in career counseling, coaching, or related fields preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Knowledge of career assessment tools and resources.
- Familiarity with labor market trends and industry-specific requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help individuals achieve their career goals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with career management systems and online job search platforms.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
