- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively.
2. **Team Management**
- Supervise and train waitstaff, ensuring adherence to service standards.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork among staff.
3. **Operational Efficiency**
- Oversee the smooth operation of service during shifts, coordinating between the kitchen and dining area.
- Manage table assignments and seating to optimize flow and minimize wait times.
4. **Sales and Upselling**
- Promote menu items and specials, encouraging upselling to enhance sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and implement strategies for improvement.
5. **Inventory Management**
- Assist in managing inventory of dining supplies and equipment.
- Ensure that stock levels are maintained and that items are ordered as needed.
6. **Health and Safety Compliance**
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and service stations.
7. **Reporting and Communication**
- Prepare reports on service performance, customer feedback, and operational issues.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding any staffing or operational concerns.
8. **Event Coordination**
- Assist in planning and executing special events or private dining experiences.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other staff to ensure seamless service for events.
9. **Training and Development**
- Participate in training programs for new staff and ongoing development for existing team members.
- Stay updated on menu changes, service techniques, and industry trends.
10. **Financial Accountability**
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
- Ensure proper billing procedures are followed and discrepancies are resolved.
