**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the operation and maintenance of water treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Monitor water quality parameters and adjust treatment processes as necessary to meet regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training as needed to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of plant facilities to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and participate in inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and permits.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to minimize disruptions to plant operations.
- Maintain accurate records of plant operations, including equipment maintenance, water quality data, and chemical usage.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize plant performance, improve efficiency, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in water treatment or related field preferred.
- Minimum of [2] years of experience working in a water treatment plant, with a demonstrated progression of increasing responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment, and regulations.
- Leadership experience, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
