**Description**:
Support the organisation to manage a healthy investment portfolio via growth support initiatives. Develop ecosystem partnerships that accelerate the financial and social impact of social businesses.

Core tasks and responsibilities:

- Support Portfolio Manager (PM) / Investment Manager (IM) in capacity building of the organisation portfolio
- Support the design and organisation of knowledge-sharing workshops with external consultants to support portfolio companies through content creation and developing local and international mentor networks.
- Manage IMM (Impact measurement and management) processes for the India portfolio, which entails the creation of impact metrics, and routine collection of IMM data. Further, be the liaison between Global Impact Manager and India portfolio for IMM-related activities.
- Provide social business entrepreneurs in the portfolio with ongoing support on strategy, governance, fundraising and ecosystem connections
- Participate in projects to improve investment and portfolio management process.

Support PM/IM in designing and implementing ecosystem-building initiatives and partnerships
- Support in the delivery of investment readiness programs in collaboration with partners to support early-stage social businesses with strategy, governance, impact and finance linkages.
- Support alum engagement program activities for investment readiness cohort companies, tracking feedback from cohort companies using quantitative and qualitative metrics on the performance of the investment readiness program.
- Support in developing and maintaining partnerships with various ecosystem players, including incubators, accelerators, investors, corporates, academic institutions, sponsors and others for collaboration.
- Any other activities dealing with the day-to-day or long-term business continuity and serving the purpose of advancing organisation.

Support PM/IM in building and maintaining a solid sourcing pipeline that includes
- Work closely with the local investment team to develop the social business pipeline through expanding access to industry networks, including sourcing and initial screening of business plans.

Professional expertise / hard skills
- Background in economics, business administration, international development, or related fields.
- 2 - 3 years of project management experience with early and growth stage social enterprises.

Prior experience in working with accelerators and incubators is a plus Demonstrated project and stakeholder management experience
