Job Description - Student Counselor

**Student Guidance**:

- Assist students in exploring their interests, goals, and career aspirations to align them with suitable academic programs.

**Admissions Process**:

- Communicate admission decisions to applicants and provide feedback when necessary.

**Counseling**:

- Offer one-on-one counseling sessions to address questions, concerns, and challenges related to the admissions process.
- Provide support and guidance to students who may be facing difficulties in meeting admission requirements.

**Information Sessions and Events**:

- Conduct information sessions, campus tours, and open houses to promote the institution and its programs to potential students and their families.
- Represent the institution at college fairs, high schools, and community events to attract and recruit prospective students.

**Data Management**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective and admitted students.
- Generate reports and analyze data related to admissions to identify trends and areas for improvement.

**Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with academic departments, faculty, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process.
- Work closely with other counselors and admissions professionals to share best practices and enhance the overall effectiveness of the admissions team.

**Marketing and Outreach**:

- Assist in the development of marketing materials and outreach strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants.
- Utilize various communication channels, including social media, to engage with prospective students and disseminate relevant information.

**Continuous Learning**:

- Stay informed about changes in admission policies, educational trends, and relevant regulations.
- Attend professional development workshops and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills in college admissions counseling.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
