**Job Overview**:
You will take ownership of system administration tasks, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and be responsible for ensuring a smooth and secure IT environment. Additionally, we need someone who is a team player and can handle support requests professionally and courteously.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- **Install & Configure Software/Hardware**: Set up and manage systems primarily on Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, and Kali Linux).
- **Network Management**: Oversee network servers and technology tools, manage LAN, WAN, and virtual networks.
- **Account & Workstation Setup**: Create and manage user accounts, set up workstations, and ensure access control.
- **Traffic Monitoring & Security**: Monitor network-related traffic, ban or whitelist external IPs as needed, and ensure security through firewalls, backups, and access controls.
- **System Monitoring & Maintenance**: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and maintain systems to meet performance and security standards.
- **Automation & Scripting**: Utilize shell scripting for automating monitoring tasks and alerts.
- **Backup & Recovery**: Implement and manage data backup and recovery plans.
- **Documentation**: Document configurations, processes, and changes in the IT infrastructure.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3+ years of experience in system administration with a focus on Linux environments.
- **Operating Systems**: Strong understanding of Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat, Kali), and familiarity with Windows server environments.
- **Networking**: Ability to troubleshoot and manage network issues, including virtual networks and cross-network connectivity.
- **AWS**: Basic knowledge of AWS cloud services and virtual network setups.
- **Scripting & Automation**: Proficiency in shell scripting for task automation and process improvement.
- **Security**: Knowledge of system security, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and data backup/recovery protocols.
- **Troubleshooting**: Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.
- **Communication**: Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- **Certifications**: Any certifications related to system administration (e.g., AWS, Linux, or networking certifications) are a plus.

**Additional Skills**:

- Familiarity with the financial services industry is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of projects.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
