Reports to: IT Operations Manager

Job Level: Individual Contribution.

**What will you do in RamSoft?**
- Participate in system design and planning sessions for the development and maintenance of corporate IT systems.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and diagrams of IT systems.
- Monitor and report on system performance and key systems metrics.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot user problems.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
- Perform hardware and software installations, and operating system patching.
- Suggest improvements to internal support procedures.
- Participate in planning and making recommendations for distributed and enterprise hardware systems management software and architecture.
- Provide general systems administration tasks including system configuration management, OS installations, security updates, and urgent system patching.
- Handle all day-to-day tasks and operational activities regarding troubleshooting and maintaining office servers, networks, and employee-specific equipment such as computers, printers, scanners, telephones, headsets, etc.
- Configure, stage and ship server and workstation-related hardware.
- Set up new hires with the appropriate equipment, assist with workstation arrangements, install applicable software/hardware/wiring, order equipment, and assist with IT Orientation Tasks.
- Train staff on IT-related Equipment and Applications.
- Responsible for administration of infrastructure maintenance and upgrades for Internal Resources (Software and Hardware).
- Implementation, Support, Administration, and Management of Windows 10/11 and Server 2012R2/2016/2019/2022 Operating Systems.
- Manage user issues on a timely basis, updating tickets for accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with the preparation of hardware, virtual machines and virtual network infrastructures for Customer-facing Demos.
- Monitor the performance of remote systems and perform performance tuning as necessary.
- Automate repetitive tasks
- Perform other related duties as required.

**What will you bring to RamSoft?**
- 3-5 years of experience in systems (hardware and software) configuration, automation, and support or working in a related role.
- Must be personable, communicate well, display patience and the ability to provide training and assistance to computer or technology users.
- A high level of written and verbal communication skills is required to interact with and provide training to employees.
- Proven ability to work well under mínimal supervision.
- Ability to make decisions and manage multiple priorities.
- Impeccable time management and problem-solving skills to develop creative approaches and meet deadlines in a fast-paced department.
- Ability to troubleshoot software logically and analytically and to discuss issues with manager, team and internal personnel.
- Mastery of Computer Software (e.g. network administration tools, scripting and automation apps, etc.)
- Mastery of Computer Hardware (e.g. IT Systems, network cards, servers, network diagnostic tools).
- Mastery of Computer Operating Systems (e.g. Windows, DOS, Macintosh, Android)
- Mastery of Networking Technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Entra ID).
- Experience in on-prem systems, and cloud technologies like Azure, AWS & GCP.
- Experience in switching, firewall and routing products including but not limited to, Meraki, Netgate, Azure VNG, cloud-based network infrastructure and VPN software a plus.
- SQL and general Database Administration (DBA).
- Ability to interpret technical material in books, journals, or manuals, troubleshooting computer system problems.
- Intermediate programming and scripting skills
- Preferably with AZ-104, MS-102 or AI-900 or more advanced certifications
