We are seeking a skilled System and Network Administrator to join our IT team. This position is responsible for configuring, managing, and troubleshooting both Windows and Linux systems, network infrastructure, backup systems, and security protocols. The role includes managing DHCP, Static IPs, NAT, IPSec, firewall configurations, subnetting,network topologies, VLANs, WLAN, routing, and ensuring network availability and security. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with both server management and networking, ensuring the smooth operation of both systems and network environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong experience with Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, File/Print Services) and Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL, etc.) server administration.
Familiarity with system management tools like PowerShell, Bash scripting, Ansible, or similar automation tools.
Knowledge of VLANs, subnetting, NAT, IPSec VPNs, firewall configuration, Network Topologies
Knowledge of the following network protocols and technologies: TCP/IP and OSI model, IP Address and Subnetting, ARP, DHCP, DNS, POE (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt), ICMP, IPv4 IPv6, and IEEE 802.1Q trunking, Wireless LAN Fundamentals, VPN, NAT/PAT, etc.
Knowledge of troubleshooting utilities such as Ping, Traceroute, Wireshark (or similar packet capture and analysis tools) is highly desired.
Hands-on experience with Wi-Fi configuration, VLAN and WLAN security protocols (e.g., WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X)
Experience with Routing Protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP.
Expertise in configuring and managing DHCP, Static IPs, and DNS.
Familiarity with Backup Solutions and Disaster Recovery plans.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across both Linux and Windows platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Work Environment:
This role requires a combination of in-office work and remote troubleshooting, with some after-hours support as needed for critical issues.
The position may require on-call availability during system failures or network issues.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in both systems administration and networking, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot complex environments involving both Windows and Linux operating systems. A successful candidate will bring a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to maintaining a secure and efficient IT infrastructure.
