**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the design implementation and maintenance of SQL Server databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Oversee the administration of SQL Server databases including installation configuration and upgrades.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues ensuring mínimal downtime and quick resolution.
- Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and optimize TSQL scripts and stored procedures to enhance database performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
- Monitor database performance and conduct regular maintenance tasks such as backups and indexing to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Utilize ITIL best practices to manage and improve database-related processes and workflows.
- Leverage GCP tools and services to enhance database performance and scalability in a cloud environment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of database systems to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our database systems remain cutting-edge and competitive.
- Participate in rotational shifts to provide 24/7 support for critical database systems ensuring their availability and reliability.

**Qualifications**
- Possess a strong understanding of SQL Server administration and database management principles.
- Have hands-on experience with TSQL scripting and optimization techniques.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using GCP tools and services for database management and optimization.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
- Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
