**Job Summary**:
The Cost Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects related to food, beverages, and overall restaurant operations. This position ensures that the restaurant adheres to cost control processes, optimizes profitability, and maintains financial efficiency without compromising quality. The Cost Controller works closely with the kitchen and management teams to monitor inventory, track expenses, and implement cost-saving strategies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Monitoring**: Monitor food and beverage costs, ensuring that they remain within established budget parameters. Regularly analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.
- **Inventory Management**: Oversee inventory management, including tracking food and beverage stock levels, ensuring proper storage, and conducting regular stock counts.
- **Menu Costing**: Assist with menu engineering by calculating food costs for menu items, helping to determine the pricing strategy that supports profitability.
- **Supplier & Vendor Management**: Work with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure that inventory is sourced cost-effectively. Verify supplier invoices and resolve any discrepancies.
- **Reporting & Analysis**: Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on food and beverage costs, waste, and labor expenses. Analyze financial data and suggest improvements to boost profitability.
- **Waste Control**: Identify areas of potential waste in both food and drink operations and implement measures to reduce or eliminate unnecessary costs.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in cost control, inventory management, or finance, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, food cost structures, and financial principles.

**Working Conditions**:

- Full-time position with flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
