**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, dumplings, noodles, rice dishes, and soups.
- Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Follow standard recipes and plating techniques to maintain consistency in food quality.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients to maintain freshness.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, following food safety regulations.
- Assist in portioning and garnishing dishes as per restaurant standards.
- Monitor kitchen stock levels and report any shortages to the chef.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of kitchen equipment.
- Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Support in training junior staff as needed.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Chinese cuisine.
- **Education**: Diploma or certification in culinary arts is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
- Good time management and multitasking skills.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- **Work Environment**: Ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment with flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
