**Mercer is pleased to announce opening for the positions for FP&A CoE UK Reporting Associate. Applications are invited from eligible **applicants.**
**What can you expect**:
The FP&A UK Reporting Associate collaborates with the regional UK FP&A team providing trusted financial reporting. By creating, tracking and analyzing budgets, forecasts and financial results, they develop performance insights that contribute to critical business decision making and strategic plans. The role will become an expert in all FP&A reporting systems and will be expected to help with standardization of reporting and looking for efficiencies.

**What’s in it for you**:
- Analyze basic financial data and quantitative analyses, in order to support sound and defensible recommendations.
- Reviews and conducts simple analysis of financial planning information and reports, and makes recommendations for changes to management.
- Conducts basic audit activities, in order to comply with requirements.
- Maintains best practices policies, in order to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicates with management on a consistent basis, to ensure sound fiscal management.
- Assists in the month end close process by preparing recurring/standard and ad hoc reports, researching general ledger activities and variances to budget and prior year.
- Evaluates financial plans by identifying financial outcomes and potential returns.
- Assists in the development of budgets and quarterly forecasts; tracks and reports initiatives.
- Prepares financial planning information and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
- Improves financial planning job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
**What you need to **have**:
- Degree in finance, accounting, business or economics
- Relevant business experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or similar area
- Ability to understand and articulate financial impact or decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Show initiative and contribute to a continuous improvement environment
- Proficient in MS Office, Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Highly proficient in data analysis and data extraction and manipulation
- Comfortable presenting to regional team members; able to appropriately challenge team
- Proven track record of delivering to deadlines
- Active team player with the ability to work across geographies
- Be open for new challenges and willing to undertake additional responsibilities
**Eligibility**:
- Minimum 8 years’ experience overall
- Minimum 1 year experience at level E and within current role
- Should have at least “On track” or equivalent rating in last appraisal
- Should not be under any Performance Counselling Plan, or had any official Disciplinary action within the last 3 months
- Should not have applied for any other IJP within Mercer in the last 3 months
