Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and technically skilled **Social Media & Graphic Design Intern** to join our marketing team. In this role, you will design dynamic content that effectively communicates our brand’s message and increases engagement on various social media platforms. You will work closely with the marketing team to design posts, graphics, and multimedia content that align with our marketing campaigns. Your design skills and understanding of social media trends will be critical to enhancing our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Design and Post Social Media Content**:

- Create visually appealing and engaging daily content (images, carousels, videos, etc.) for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and others.
- Ensure that all content aligns with our brand guidelines, tone, and messaging.
- **Utilize Design Tools for Graphic Creation**:

- Produce high-quality visuals, including infographics, banners, and social media graphics, that drive engagement.
- Design and edit Reels, Stories, and Carousels for Instagram and LinkedIn, ensuring each piece aligns with platform-specific trends and best practices.
- **Content Creation for Campaigns**:

- Work closely with the marketing team to design and create content that ties into larger marketing campaigns, ensuring consistency across all platforms.
- **Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends**:

- Research industry trends, monitor competitor activities, and stay informed on the latest design trends and social media best practices.
- Suggest new content formats and creative approaches to keep our social media presence fresh, engaging, and aligned with current trends.
- **Analyze and Report on Engagement**:

- Monitor social media engagement, follower growth, and content performance.
- Use analytics tools to track the success of your designs, offering recommendations for improvement based on insights.
- **Collaborate with Other Teams**:

- Work with the content and communications team to develop content that supports the company’s broader messaging and brand initiatives.
- Contribute ideas for creative campaigns, social media strategies, and content formats that align with overall business goals.

Key Skills Required:

- **Proficiency in Design Software**:

- Advanced skills in **Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator**, or other design software to create and edit graphics, animations, and videos.
- Experience in **Canva** for creating quick and high-quality content, including templates, custom graphics, and social media posts.
- **Experience in Social Media Content Creation**:

- Strong understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and the types of content that resonate with audiences on each.
- Ability to create content that fits platform-specific requirements (e.g., aspect ratios, story formats, etc.).
- **Visual Storytelling**:

- A solid understanding of visual aesthetics, with the ability to combine effective visuals with engaging copy to tell a compelling story.
- Ability to create visually cohesive content that aligns with our brand image and narrative.
- **Creative Problem Solving**:

- The ability to think outside the box and develop original content ideas that engage and entertain our audience.
- Proactive in suggesting new design trends and ways to leverage social media for brand growth.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- **Strong portfolio** or personal projects demonstrating design skills (especially in social media graphics and multimedia content).
- Prior experience using **Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator**, or similar tools to create high-quality content.
- Passionate about social media and staying updated with the latest trends in digital marketing and design.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have:

- Prior internship experience in social media marketing or content creation.
- A **design portfolio** showcasing social media content, including visuals, videos, and graphic design projects.

Experience with **video editing** software such as Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is a plus.
