- Category Buying - For General Merchandising Department **(Home Textile -Bed& Bath,Footwear, Corckery,Electrical, Steel/Utensils, Home Appliances, Plastics ,Stationery)**

**_Job Description_**
- The role holder will be responsible for Vendor Sourcing and Management i.e. sourcing new vendors, onboarding the new vendors, scheduling, Buying / ordering, ensuring on time payments, Debits to vendors as per process, Product Development (GM), etc. Simultaneously, he / she will need to manage working relationships with existing vendors. _
- The role holder will be responsible for managing the assigned Category and for related product / merchandise selection. The responsibilities will include the following:_
- Identifying products, offers and negotiating the best rates_
- Analysis of consumption patterns across various geographies_
- Ensuring profitable growth for the categories_
- Inventory Control_
- Conduct Competition benchmarking and market visits. _Data analysis, planning and forecasting, Sales growth, product enhancement, product lifecycle management_
- Will need to prepare and present reports. Will be required to travel._

**_Who can apply_**

**_Skills needed_**
- Communication, negotiation, planning, delegation, co-ordination, follow up and team Handling skills. He / She will be required to maintain good working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders, hence good interpersonal skills are needed. Must be good with related processes and proficiency in excel is a must_

**_Experience_**
- Minimum 3+ Years - 10 Years_
