
Purchase Officer for Fmcg Industry

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop procurement plans accordingly.
- Analyze demand trends, forecast future requirements, and maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production schedules.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers capable of meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms for the organization.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and actively seek opportunities for improvement and cost optimization.
- Purchase Order Processing:
- Generate and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Monitor order status, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the procurement process.
- Coordinate with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure timely receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies in all procurement activities.
- Maintain comprehensive procurement documentation, including contracts, agreements, and vendor performance reports.
- Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.
