Must have skills:
A GCP Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the Google Cloud Platform infrastructure to ensure its efficiency, security, and reliability. This role involves overseeing a range of GCP services, implementing best practices, and providing technical support to ensure the smooth operation of cloud-based systems.

Must have skills:
GCP, GCS, Google Analytics, Data Flow, Dataproc, Cloud Data Fusion etc, IaC tools like Terraform, BigQuery, Big Table, Looker, Programming languages like Python, Shell or PowerShell.

**Responsibilities**:
Provision and manage GCP resources, including virtual machines, storage, and networking components.

Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Deployment Manager for automated resource deployment.

Configure and maintain security policies, access controls, and encryption mechanisms to protect GCP resources and data.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices related to cloud security.

Set up monitoring and alerting systems to track the performance and health of GCP resources.

Identify opportunities for optimization and cost management within the GCP environment.

Address technical issues and provide ongoing support for GCP services, working closely with development and operations teams.

Perform root cause analysis for incidents and implement preventive measures.

Develop and maintain scripts and automation workflows to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of GCP infrastructure with business requirements.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of GCP setups, configurations, and procedures.

Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in GCP administration and infrastructure management.

Certification in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) such as Google Certified Professional - Cloud Architect would be advantageous.

Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Shell, or PowerShell.

Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in a dynamic cloud environment.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
