We are seeking an experienced IBM Security Verify Directory (ISVD) Administrator to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, replication, and ongoing maintenance of our ISVD infrastructure in a Linux-based environment.

This role is critical to maintaining a secure, scalable, and highly available directory services environment and will involve adding servers to an existing replication topology, data migration, and ensuring seamless synchronization across directory nodes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install & Configure ISVD on Linux servers (e.g., RHEL, SUSE), following enterprise standards and security best practices.

· Set up and manage replication topologies, including adding new servers as replicas and ensuring secure communication across master/peer nodes.

· Perform data migrations using tools such as ldifde, idsldapadd, idsldapmodify, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.

· Monitor and troubleshoot synchronization issues and replication performance across directory servers.

· Apply patches and upgrades, maintain system health, and ensure high availability of the ISVD environment.

· Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, replication configurations, and SOPs.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Security, Networking, Application) to support access management solutions.

· Investigate and resolve complex technical issues, including performance tuning and authentication failures.

Required Qualifications:

· 4–9 years of experience in Linux system administration with a strong focus on IAM and directory services.

· 3–5 years of hands-on experience with IBM Security Verify Directory (formerly IBM Tivoli Directory Server).

· Deep knowledge of LDAP concepts, directory schemas, and access control models.

· Proven experience managing ISVD replication (master-replica and peer-to-peer configurations).

· Experience with data migration techniques and tools such as idsldapmodify, idsldapdelete, and idsldapsearch.

· Proficiency in shell scripting (Bash or similar) to automate administrative tasks.

· Strong grasp of security protocols (SSL/TLS, PKI) for secure communication between directory nodes.

· Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

· Experience with other IBM Security products (e.g., IBM Security Identity Manager, IBM Security Verify).

· Familiarity with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM).

· Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.

· BM certifications (e.g., IBM Certified Administrator – Security Verify Directory).

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹45, ₹70,000.00 per month
