Job Title: GCP Data Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support our ongoing initiative of migrating and converting a large volume of reports into Looker. The role involves addressing open tickets across BigQuery and Looker, ensuring data accuracy, optimizing performance, and enabling seamless reporting. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with analysts to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions and deliver insightful dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and optimize BigQuery data structures to support reporting needs.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance Looker models, LookML, and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with analysts to gather requirements and validate report outputs.
  • Perform light quality assurance to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Support Looker administration and contribute to creative report/dashboard building.

Required Skills:

  • Strong expertise in BigQuery Data Warehouse Engineering (schema design, performance tuning, optimization).
  • Hands-on experience with Looker (LookML development, troubleshooting, administration).
  • Proficiency in building reports and dashboards creatively in Looker.
  • Familiarity with GCP ecosystem and integrations.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
