**Job Purpose**:
To assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards, ensuring consistency, hygiene, and food safety at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook dishes as per the menu and chef’s instructions.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation.
- Ensure proper portion control and minimize food wastage.
- Support senior chefs in menu planning, recipe development, and mise-en-place.
- Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards (HACCP / FSSAI compliance).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Train and guide Commis II, Commis III, and Trainees when required.
- Ensure timely preparation of food during service hours.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver smooth kitchen operations.

**Key Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Attention to detail in food preparation and plating.
- Teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.

**Experience**:

- Minimum **2-3 years of experience** as Commis I / Commis II in a reputed restaurant.
- Specialization in cuisine ( Chinese ) preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
