**Summary**: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Student Counselor to join our team at Daira Tech Skills Academy. The Student Counselor will provide essential counseling services to students, supporting their academic success, personal growth, and emotional well-being.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct individual counseling sessions with students to address personal, academic, and emotional issues.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students in urgent situations.
- Develop and implement counseling programs and workshops on topics such as stress management, study skills, and career planning.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents/guardians to support student needs and development.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and student interactions.
- Stay informed about mental health issues and trends affecting college students.
- Participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
- Licensed or license-eligible as a counselor or therapist preferred.
- Previous experience in counseling or advising students, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse team.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of students.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with crisis intervention and managing high-stress situations.
- Knowledge of college and university policies and procedures related to student welfare.
- Familiarity with counseling techniques and assessment tools.
