**Position Summary**:
This position is responsible for the development of Wiring Diagram Manuals for Automotive Industry These aspects include researching design and release documents, product development documents, plant installation drawings, Schematics, parts detail drawings, technical service bulletins, CAD data, and hands-on procedures on Automotives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work on automotive wiring harness, harness routing, comparison of harness, and connector information updates.
- Follow current content development procedures and processes as necessary to ensure deliverable meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Information gathering from provided documents and physical schematics.
- Creation of circuit schematics for new model year release and updates in existing schematics using illustration tool.
- Analysis and graphical representation of wiring harness and connector information.
- Work on updating wiring harness information & clean up activity to migrate information.
- Follow current content development procedures and processes as necessary to ensure deliverable meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Update various tracking sheets and advise team leader/manager regarding progress of work.
- Participate in (internal/customer) meetings to update status of work assignments & for technical discussions.
- Facilitate Customer Satisfaction by means of adhering to standards, timelines & qualitative output. Follow-up on all client feedback. Ensure all client revisions/discussions are incorporated and distributed to the teams for action.

**Skills Required**:

- Experience working collaboratively with client teams in fast paced environment.
- Ability to dialog freely with internal teams regarding projects to ensure solutions are well planned.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and thorough approach to follow-through on all tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks to ensure efficiencies.
- Ability to multitask and interface with many personalities.
- Solid understanding of authoring tools (SGML/XML), Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. DITA and InDesign a plus.
- Enthusiastic and well organized
- Capable of adhering to schedules and raising issues as necessary
- Ability to work with domestic and international business cultures

**Education/Experience**:
Associates with Mechanical/Automotive Degree. Approximately 2-3 years of related experience preferred. Experience in Automotive Technical Publications & Automotive wiring harness.OEM/workshop knowledge a plus.
