- Assisting with food preparation and cooking tasks.
- Preparing hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and other drinks.

Demonstrate the highest standards of customer welcome and care when assisting customers at the counter and delivering orders to tables
- Giving advice, guidance and recommendations on products and menu selection to customers to ensure a positive experience and repeat business
- Managing queues and meeting customer expectations, upsell to maximise profit
- Service of hot and cold beverages, cakes and other food items
- Keeping the areas tidy and clean including table clearing, removing dirties and waste
- Rotate between the front and back of house
- Handling customer complaints in the first instance and reporting feedback to the Café and Functions Managers
- Working within established guidelines and operating procedures
- Keeping up to date with special promotions and creating displays
- Ensuring compliance with all legislation, H&S and food hygiene

We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused **Sales Assistant** to join our café team. In this role, you'll be the face of our café — helping customers, taking orders, preparing drinks and light food, and making sure everyone leaves with a smile. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and serve customers with a positive, welcoming attitude
- Take orders accurately using the POS system
- Prepare and serve beverages and simple food items (e.g. sandwiches, pastries)
- Keep the service area clean, tidy, and well-stocked
- Handle cash, card payments, and give correct change
- Upsell products and promote specials to boost sales
- Assist with stock rotation and deliveries
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times
- Work well with your teammates to create a smooth, efficient service

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
