**Purpose of the role**

As Treasury Admin you will be a key member of the Finance Team, working to ensure that all cash is posted in a timely manner. This position will interface with the business region (EMEA) and report to the Treasury Team Leader to support the AP, AR and Treasury teams with cash posting, journal entries, intercompany and other related transactions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Allocate payments to relevant customer invoices, or supplier payments/refunds
- Investigate information given by the bank relating to payments to ensure its accurately allocated
- Ensure queries are dealt with in a timely manner
- Responsible for the month-end processes relating to cash e.g. bank reconciliation
- Assist with keeping the ledgers clean, i.e. regular balance sheet checks
- Identify key risks and work with the Treasury Team Leader to ensure robust internal controls within the finance function to mitigate those risks
- Work to standardise and document key processes/compliance + identify areas for improvement + automation
- Support on annual and interim audits where required by the External Audit Team
- Be part of a positive, supportive culture amongst finance as well as with the rest of the business, this is key to the team’s success
- Be a true team player, supporting the rest of the Finance team on ad hoc tasks and holiday cover

**Skills, knowledge, experience and exposure**
- Should be a graduate in Business / Accounting / Commerce degree, with majors in accounting or finance desirable
- Understand basic accounting principles for cash posting, intercompany, supplier invoices and customer payments
- Understanding Foreign Exchange preferable
- Strong Excel skills to pivot tables and lookups
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience an advantage
