Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Manager with 8-10 years of experience in managing enterprise applications across various functions within the Indian insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with platforms such as Darwinbox, SAP Treasury, and strong exposure to regulatory interactions (UIDAI, Aadhaar).

The role demands excellent vendor management skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a strong understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.

  • Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of corporate applications (HRMS, Finance, Admin, Operations, Sales & Legal).
  • Ensure optimal performance, availability, and scalability of platforms like Darwinbox, SAP Treasury.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

Certifications in ITIL, SAP, or relevant platforms preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Application Ownership & Management:

  • Ability to support integration of COTS, BESPOKE & Cloud Native application.
  • Experience towards Cloud Platform – AZURE & AWS.
  • Evaluation and development of new applications.

Regulatory & Compliance Support:

  • Liaise with external regulators such as UIDAI and Aadhaar authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and regulatory standards.

Project & Change Management:

  • Support IFRS-related application changes and enhancements.
  • Drive application upgrades, CRs, and integration projects.

Incident & Problem Management:

  • Lead resolution of application-related incidents.
  • Ensure adherence to internal ITIL processes for change, incident, and problem management.

Vendor & Budget Management:

  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and SLAs.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Admin, Legal, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain application documentation, SOPs, and compliance records.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on application health, risks, and roadmap.
