Animal Welfare and Ethical Review

**Job Summary**:
**The job holder is responsible for supporting the effective operation of the UK Animal Welfare and Ethical Review Bodies (AWERBs) in line with Regulatory, Accreditation and Client requirements. As a member of the Animal Welfare and Veterinary Service department, the job holder is also responsible for supporting effective and timely UK Home Office Liaison and Veterinary Services activities.**:
**Essential Job Duties**:
- **Provide organizational support for UK AWERB Committees including**:
- ** Organizing AWERB/related meetings**:
- ** Maintaining AWERB systems, records and minutes**:
- ** Maintaining AWERB document repositories, archives and communications**:
- ** Tracking and following up AWERB actions/objectives**:
- ** Organizing external meeting attendance/booking**:
- ** Provide organizational support for the UK Home Office Liaison and Veterinary Service Team in**:
- ** Ensuring on-time payments to suppliers, regulators, accreditors including raising purchase orders and ensuring payment completion**:
- ** Purchase and maintenance of veterinary equipment**:
- ** Animal Health Sentinel program coordination, as requested**:
- ** Follow applicable departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.**:
- ** Complete required trainings according to required timelines**:
- ** Other duties as assigned by management.**:
**Experience**:
- ** 3 years of related experience inclusive of GLP operations and/or quality, preferably within an **_in vivo_** research environment**:
- ** Ability to review, analyze data and operational processes.**:
- ** Must have the ability to balance several priorities simultaneously.**:
- ** Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels within organization.**:
**Education**:
- ** A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences preferred (or equivalent Life Science experience)**:
- ** Experience may be substituted for education Professional degree/designations/certifications/licenses legally required: none**:
