**Job Summary**:
**The job holder is responsible for developing and maintaining global systems for the capture and maintenance of regulatory and animal welfare information. As member of the Animal Welfare and Veterinary service team the job holder is also responsible for acting as the departmental coordinator for existing quality and animal welfare computer systems.**:
**Essential Job Duties**:

- **Develop and maintain systems to capture and provide global access to**:

- ** Client animal welfare and incident notification requirements**:

- ** Regulator and client inspection/visit preparation/hosting/outcome information**:

- ** Animal welfare regulatory permits and certificates**:

- ** Regulatory reportable data eg animal use,**:

- ** Developments in animal welfare and the 3Rs**:

- ** Animal welfare vendor qualification information and status**:

- ** Key animal welfare contacts**:

- ** Information on animal welfare training and development, external presentations and posters**:

- ** Provide support for Regulator, Client and Accreditor visits and inspections**:

- ** Maintain centralized records of client animal welfare RFI’s, provide support for completion of new requests**:

- ** Track the status of animal welfare related licenses, permits and authorizations ensuring holders are notified in advance of required renewals**:

- ** Provide regular reports on compliance status including areas of potential risk**:

- ** Act as department coordinator for Quality/Animal Welfare computer systems including**:

- ** Production, update and renewal of Policies, SOP’s and Guides**:

- ** Entry of Regulatory, Client and Vendor audit information and actions**:

- ** Ensure quality documentation, regulatory and client audits actions are tracked to completion, escalate any overdue items to AWVS Leadership**:

- ** Follow applicable departmental Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.**:

- ** Complete required trainings according to required timelines**:

- ** Other duties as assigned by management.**:
**Experience**:

- ** 3 years of related experience inclusive of GLP operations and/or quality, preferably within an in vivo research environment**:

- ** Ability to learn, validate, implement and providing training in new IT systems**:

- ** Ability to create processes to capture, review, analyze data.**:

- ** Must have the ability to balance several priorities simultaneously.**:

- ** Ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels within organization.**:
**Education**:

- ** A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences preferred (or equivalent Life Science experience)**:

- ** Experience may be substituted for education Professional degree/designations/certifications/licenses legally required: none**:
