Associate - Testing

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

**As a UAT Automation Tester you will implement automation framework to create solution to automate User Acceptance test case scenarios**. In this role you will support identifying and mitigating pre-production (test) defects and maintaining a sustainable automation framework for UAT. As a member of the team, you will be an advocate for the business ensuring positive and negative results from testing are communicated, tracked, not repeated, and ultimately demonstrate to business partners that functionality is as expected.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the definition and documentation of test strategies
- Act as a key contributor in the continued automation development and Frameworks Maintenance
- Ensure automation tests adhere to established process and standards
- Experience with web testing methods and writing SQL queries (SQL Server 2012 and higher)
- Write Automation scripting and queries
- Demonstrate understanding of formal software test design techniques
- Develop Testing Scripts using various Testing Tools (Cypress,Winium,Sikulix, Selenium, etc.)
- Demonstrate ability to gather and understand requirements.Demonstrate good testing and defect management skills
- Utilize good analysis skills in order to aid in trouble shooting and problem solving
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and specifically QA process and test methodologies

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Automation Framework development skills (well versed in programming language preferably Java and JavaScript)
- Knowledge on CICD tools like Jenkins and version controlling tools like Bitbucket, git
- Strong VB scripting, Excel Macros, Cypress/Sikulix/Winium/Selenium skills
- Minimum 10 years of software testing experience with 8years automation testing experience
- Graduated in Computer science, Computer engineering, math, or related engineering fields (E.g B.Sc, B.E or MCA, M.Tech in Computers / Electronics etc.,)

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies
