**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Production & Preparation**
- Prepare a wide variety of baked goods including cakes, cookies, tarts, croissants, and plated desserts.
- Decorate pastries using different techniques and presentation styles.
- Ensure all desserts are fresh, visually appealing, and consistent in quality and taste.
**Menu Development**
- Create new and seasonal pastry/dessert menu items aligned with customer preferences and brand identity.
- Experiment with flavors and textures to develop signature offerings.
**Team Management**
- Supervise junior pastry chefs, bakers, and kitchen assistants.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on recipes, techniques, and kitchen hygiene.
**Kitchen Operations**
- Ensure cleanliness and compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage inventory and order ingredients as needed.
- Monitor food cost, portion control, and minimize wastage.
**Qualifications**:
- Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Pastry, or Baking from a recognized institution.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role in a professional kitchen.
- Knowledge of international and local dessert trends.
**Skills & Competencies**:
- Excellent baking and pastry preparation skills.
- Creativity and passion for desserts and presentation.
- Strong leadership and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and modern pastry techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
**Preferred Experience**:
- Experience in luxury hotels, high-end restaurants, or artisan bakeries.
- Familiarity with dietary requirements (gluten-free, sugar-free, vegan pastries).
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
