**Role Overview**:

**Skills Required**:

- Ability to handle baking equipment and ovens.

**Pastry Chef (Pâtissier)**

**Role Overview**:
A Pastry Chef specializes in desserts, pastries, and sweets. They focus on creativity, decoration, and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare pastries, cakes, tarts, mousses, donuts, cookies, and other desserts.
- Create and decorate desserts with icing, chocolate, sugar work, and garnishes.
- Develop new dessert recipes and seasonal menus.
- Maintain consistency in flavor, texture, and presentation.
- Ensure proper storage of creams, fillings, and perishable ingredients.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to support café/restaurant menu.

**Skills Required**:

- Expertise in pastry and dessert techniques.
- Artistic sense for plating and decoration.
- Knowledge of chocolate, sugar work, and creams.
