**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and target potential clients in the **C&I (Commercial & Industrial)** segment for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
- Generate leads through various channels — corporate outreach, networking, cold calls, and industry events.
- Develop and deliver business proposals, technical presentations, and financial models to clients.
- Manage end-to-end business development cycles from **lead generation to project closure.**:
- Collaborate with the **engineering and project execution teams** to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, competitor activities, and policy changes.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with **corporate decision-makers, EPC partners, and government bodies.**
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in **Engineering / Energy / Business Administration** (MBA preferred).
- **Minimum 5 years of experience** in solar energy sales, specifically in the **C&I segment.**:
- Strong knowledge of **solar policies, MNRE guidelines, DISCOM procedures,** and net metering regulations.
- Proven track record of achieving business targets and closing high-value projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in **MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools,** and basic understanding of **financial modeling (IRR, ROI).**:
- Ability to work independently and travel extensively for client meetings and site visits.
