Key Responsibilities
- **Basic Accounting**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Record daily financial transactions and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and statements.
- **Bookkeeping**:
- Maintain and update the company's books of accounts.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are recorded in the appropriate accounts.
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow.
- **Ledger Maintenance**:
- Update and maintain the general ledger.
- Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Ensure that all ledger entries are accurate and comply with accounting standards.
- **Payment Follow-Ups**:
- Track and follow up on outstanding payments from clients and customers.
- Communicate with clients regarding overdue invoices and resolve payment issues.
- Prepare and send payment reminders as necessary.
- **Vendor Management**:
- Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
- Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors to secure the best deals.
- **Basic Office Administration**:
- Perform general administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and office organization.
- Manage office supplies and inventory.
- **Reporting**:
- Prepare and present regular reports on financial status and office operations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Qualifications and Skills
- **Educational Background**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting and administrative roles.
- **Accounting Knowledge**: Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
- **Software Proficiency**: Proficiency in accounting software MS Office (especially Excel).
- **Organizational Skills**: Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- **Attention to Detail**: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in work.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Good interpersonal skills to interact with vendors, clients, and colleagues.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to handle issues and resolve conflicts effectively.
Working Conditions
- **Location**: Based in the office at Malad West.
- **Hours**: Full-time position with standard working hours; may require occasional extended hours based on workload and deadlines.
Pay: ₹216,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
