**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a talented, experienced, and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all aspects of food preparation and menu development. The Head Chef will be responsible for ensuring the highest culinary standards, managing kitchen staff, maintaining inventory, and creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Menu Development**: Design, plan, and implement innovative and seasonal menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and vision.
- **Kitchen Management**: Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, and cleanliness.
- **Staff Leadership**: Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, ensuring they meet performance expectations, adhere to safety standards, and develop their skills.
- **Food Preparation**: Supervise and participate in food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring quality and presentation meet the restaurant's high standards.
- **Inventory & Ordering**: Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage to reduce waste and control food costs.
- **Health & Safety**: Ensure kitchen complies with all food safety and sanitation regulations. Conduct regular checks to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- **Budget Management**: Assist in managing kitchen expenses, including food and labor costs, while maintaining profitability.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor and maintain food quality and consistency, adjusting recipes as necessary.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with front-of-house management to coordinate orders and ensure a seamless dining experience.
- **Customer Focus**: Address customer feedback and concerns regarding food quality, allergies, or special dietary needs.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen role, with a strong portfolio of successful kitchen management.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- A degree or diploma in culinary arts, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to innovate and adapt to changing food trends and guest preferences.
**Desirable Skills**:
- Experience in menu costing and budget management.
- A passion for sustainable and locally sourced ingredients.
- Previous experience in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
**Working Conditions**:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy kitchen equipment and supplies.
- **Salary:25000-3000**
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
