**Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Delivery and Lesson Planning**:

- Plan and deliver lessons based on the prescribed curriculum (such as CBSE, ICSE, or state boards) for English language and literature.
- Design engaging, challenging, and thought-provoking lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners, encouraging critical thinking, analytical skills, and creativity.
- **Teaching and Instruction**:

- Foster a deep understanding of literature, encouraging students to appreciate and critically analyze literary texts, authors, and historical contexts.
- Develop and implement strategies for enhancing writing, reading comprehension, and oral communication skills.
- Use varied teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, presentations, and group activities to create an interactive and inclusive learning environment.
- **Student Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Design, administer, and grade assignments, quizzes, essays, and exams to assess students’ understanding and progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, helping them improve their performance and achieve academic goals.
- Conduct one-on-one or group discussions to address students' queries and learning challenges.
- Track student performance over time and identify areas for improvement, providing additional support or remediation where necessary.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a disciplined and respectful classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Establish classroom rules, routines, and expectations that promote collaboration, responsibility, and mutual respect among students.
- Manage student behavior effectively, addressing disruptions and maintaining a focused learning atmosphere.
- **Extracurricular Activities and Enrichment**:

- Encourage students to participate in school activities such as debates, elocution, drama, literary festivals, and other events that enhance their communication and public speaking skills.
- Organize and oversee English-related competitions, such as poetry recitations, essay writing, and story-telling sessions.
- **Student Guidance and Mentoring**:

- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them with academic challenges, exam preparation, and personal development.
- Offer support and advice on career choices, particularly related to English literature, language studies, and the arts.
- Help students develop their critical thinking, analytical abilities, and writing proficiency, preparing them for board exams, university entrance exams, and future academic pursuits.
- **Parent and Teacher Communication**:

- Maintain open lines of communication with parents or guardians regarding their child’s academic progress, behavior, and any concerns.
- Conduct parent-teacher meetings to discuss students' achievements, challenges, and future goals.
- Share periodic reports and feedback on student progress.
- **Professional Development**:

- Stay updated with the latest trends in English education, literature, and teaching methods through professional development opportunities such as workshops, seminars, and conferences.
- Collaborate with other teachers to share resources, teaching strategies, and to promote a cohesive approach to education.
- Contribute to departmental meetings, offering insights and suggestions for improving teaching practices and curriculum.
- **Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and assessments.
- Prepare and submit required reports, lesson plans, and teaching materials to the school administration.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
