**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Planning & Instruction**:

- Teach **prose, poetry, drama, grammar, and creative writing** with an emphasis on **literary analysis and comprehension**.
- Encourage **critical thinking, debate, and discussion** on literary themes and global perspectives.
- **Exam Preparation & Student Assessment**:

- Prepare students for **board exams, university entrance tests, and competitive exams**.
- Design and evaluate **assignments, tests, and projects** to assess students' progress.
- Provide **individualized feedback and remedial support** to help students improve their skills.
- **Classroom Engagement & Interactive Learning**:

- Use **modern teaching techniques**, including ICT tools, multimedia resources, and group activities.
- Incorporate **storytelling, dramatization, role-playing, and debates** to enhance student engagement.
- Encourage **independent research, presentations, and academic writing**.
- **Literary & Language Development**:

- Guide students in **essay writing, poetry composition, report writing, and creative expression**.
- Teach **grammar, vocabulary enhancement, and advanced writing techniques**.
- Promote **reading culture** through literary clubs, book discussions, and library activities.
- **Student Mentorship & Career Guidance**:

- Provide academic counseling on **career paths in literature, journalism, communication, and related fields**.
- **Co-Curricular Activities & Competitions**:

- Organize and mentor students for **debates, elocutions, writing contests, and theater performances**.
- Coordinate **school magazines, newsletters, and literary clubs**.
- **Professional Development & Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop **interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives**.
- Stay updated with **new teaching methodologies and curriculum advancements**.
