**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching English Literature and Language**:

- Plan and deliver lessons for English language and literature, covering topics such as grammar, writing skills, poetry, prose, drama, and novels.
- Teach advanced English grammar, comprehension, vocabulary, and composition skills to students in classes 11 and 12.
- Introduce students to various literary works, helping them analyze themes, characters, and literary devices used by authors.
- **Curriculum Planning and Development**:

- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
- Modify lessons and resources to meet the individual needs of students, ensuring the material is accessible and engaging.
- Integrate different teaching methodologies such as discussions, debates, multimedia presentations, and group activities to facilitate student learning.
- **Assessments and Evaluations**:

- Design and administer regular formative and summative assessments (e.g., quizzes, assignments, presentations, and exams) to evaluate students' progress and understanding.
- Grade assignments, essays, and exams, providing constructive feedback to help students improve their skills.
- Maintain records of student performance and track progress over the academic year.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Create and maintain a disciplined, positive, and respectful learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Use effective classroom management techniques to handle disruptions and ensure smooth operation during lessons.
- Foster a culture of respect for diverse opinions, ideas, and cultural backgrounds.
- **Exam Preparation and Remedial Classes**:

- Help students prepare for board exams by revising key topics, conducting mock tests, and offering guidance on exam strategies.
- Offer additional support to struggling students through remedial classes or one-on-one sessions to address any gaps in their learning.
- Stay updated on examination formats, marking schemes, and changes in educational policies.
- **Student Mentoring and Guidance**:

- Provide academic advice and guidance to students, helping them with their study plans, time management, and career aspirations.
- Counsel students on how to improve their writing, reading comprehension, and verbal communication skills.
- Encourage critical thinking and independent analysis of literary texts.
- **Parent-Teacher Communication**:

- Regularly communicate with parents about their child’s progress, challenges, and achievements.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss student performance and areas for improvement.
- Provide updates on upcoming assignments, projects, and exams.
- **Professional Development**:

- Participate in professional development workshops, conferences, and training to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on new educational practices and trends.
- Share knowledge with fellow teachers and collaborate in team teaching, planning sessions, and school-wide initiatives.
- **Extracurricular Activities**:

- Encourage students’ participation in extracurricular activities related to English, such as literary clubs, debating teams, and drama productions.
- Organize or participate in school events like literary competitions, speech and essay writing contests, or cultural events that promote English language skills.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
