**Position Overview**:
As a General Duty Assistant (GDA), your primary responsibility is to provide essential patient care and support services in healthcare settings. This role requires a compassionate and attentive approach to assisting patients with their daily activities, ensuring their well-being and comfort. While the nature of the work is more hands-on in the healthcare sector, the position plays a crucial role in the overall patient care team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Patient Assistance**:

- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
- Ensure patient comfort and well-being by addressing their basic needs.

**2. Vital Sign Monitoring**:

- Regularly check and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Report any significant changes or abnormalities to the healthcare team.

**3. Hygiene Maintenance**:

- Maintain a clean and hygienic environment for patients.
- Ensure proper sanitation of patient rooms and common areas.

**4. Supportive Care**:

- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients.
- Foster a positive and caring atmosphere for patients and their families.

**5. Communication**:

- Effectively communicate with patients to understand their needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to convey important information about patient care.

**6. Record Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care activities.
- Document observations and any changes in the patient's condition.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum educational requirements may include a certificate or diploma in General Duty Assistance or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
- Compassion, empathy, and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare protocols.

**Additional Information**:
1. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra State, India.
