**Job Title**: RSM/ZSM (West)
**Location**: Mumbai
**About the Client**: PSS has been mandated to hire an RSM or ZSM (West) for a well-established and leading MNC organisation in the Consumer space. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a profitable company that is on a strong growth trajectory and contribute to the organisation's scaling new heights in the years ahead.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- This role is responsible for leading the P&L for the Western region, based in Mumbai.
- The individual will lead a team of ZSM and ASMs to achieve primary and secondary sales
- The individual will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in all aspects of Sales, Specifications & Field Marketing in the assigned Zone to achieve the business objectives.
- Deliver sales objectives by driving volume, value, market share; Driving top line sales by designing plans and programs, efficiently managing and monitoring the team
- Sales planning and analysis; Identify & effectively implement Major and Key initiatives at zonal level in the areas of Market Development, Distribution expansion & Sales Operations
- Develop periodic targets and sales plans for the region
- Create and execute processes to drive effectiveness and efficiencies in all channels.
- To identify areas of concern & opportunities for growth in the Western region.
- People Management is an extremely important part of this role. The individual will be responsible to build a high performing team by providing strong leadership to drive business growth.
**Educational Qualifications**:
- MBA from a premier Institute with around 10 years of sales experience in FMCG industry.
**Experience & Desired Competencies**:
- Around 10-15 years of relevant sales experience, with adequate exposure of working in the Western region.
- Understanding of GTM and Sales Efficiencies; knowledge of Managing Channel Partners; understanding of Budgeting and business planning.
- Relevant sales experience in the FMCG sector.
