**Job Title**: Billing Cashier - Retail

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Customer Transactions**:

- Accurately scan and ring up customer purchases.
- Ensure the correct pricing and quantities are entered into the register.
- Process various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, and store gift cards.
- **Cash Handling & Balancing**:

- Handle cash transactions and provide correct change to customers.
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies to management.
- **Customer Service**:

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers with product information, returns, exchanges, or any other inquiries.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a calm and professional manner.
- **Sales Support**:

- Promote store offers, discounts, and loyalty programs to customers.
- Help maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Assist with stocking shelves or managing inventory when needed.
- **Receipt Management**:

- Provide receipts to customers and explain payment details if necessary.
- Process refunds or exchanges according to store policy.
- **Compliance and Security**:

- Follow all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.
- Ensure confidentiality of customer information and adhere to data protection guidelines.
- **Teamwork**:

- Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to meet store goals.
- Participate in store meetings or training sessions to stay informed about new products, services, or procedures.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or cashiering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-focused and able to handle high-pressure situations.
- Ability to operate a cash register, scanner, and other retail equipment.
- Flexibility with work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental Pay:
