Transfer Agency - Data Reporting Process

Support UK based asset manager by offering support on data reporting process.

Encompassing below activities:
- Responsible for handling transfer requests, production and distribution of reports

- Act as point of contact for queries raised from the Client Operations group by way of day-to-day inbox management as well as direct contact.

- Respond to client queries in timely fashion by partnering with respective stakeholders wherever required

- Manage client communication, provide regular status updates to internal/external stakeholders, support new migrations etc.

- Manage the End of day audit to ensure all data quality issues are sufficiently addresses post-trade.

- Documenting and defining work processes

- Assisting other team members with various tasks, including reviews of the tasks completed

- Develop domain expertise across all functions within the team by continuous up-skilling through in person and online trainings

- Support all aspects improvement of the Reporting processes, including opportunities to build efficiency and enhanced control measures

- Knowledge and understanding of analytical methods used to: plan, conduct, and direct the analysis of complex business problems

Skills Requirements:
Investment professional with 2-5 years of experience

- B.Com/B.Tech + MBA (Finance) / CFA (I/II) preferred

- Demonstrate a good understanding of transfer agency functions

- Significant, demonstrated experience in a role responsible for processing of transfer requests for an Asset Manager or a Transfer Agency

- Assuring data quality and completeness with a major focus on timelines

- Prior experience in reviewing the orders to check if they are in-line with the requirements and processing them

- Hands-on experience in performing quality checks of the processed items/orders

- Interacting with different servicing offices and counterparts on everyday basis

- Understanding of the asset management industry, asset classes, and investment products such as Equity, Fixed Income, and Derivatives

- Responsible for process documentation and MIS reporting
- Good knowledge of Advanced MS Excel, knowledge of VBA(macro) is plus
