Caritas Internationalis is seeking an exceptional leader with strong management skills to join the international secretariat as Chief Operating Officer (COO). As the COO, you will be a key member of our Senior Management Team, working closely with the Secretary General to implement the strategic vision of Caritas Internationalis. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the General Secretariat, providing strategic financial leadership, managing administrative and financial services, human resources, and IT infrastructure. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of our mission, fostering collaboration across departments, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

This exciting position requires a proven track record of senior management experience, ideally within the NGO sector. You should have a master's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field, with at least 10 years of experience in senior financial management. Your exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and strategic planning skills will be essential in guiding our organization through complex challenges and driving sustainable growth. Above all, you should share our commitment to serving humanity with compassion and integrity.

The position will be located at the Caritas International General Secretariat in Vatican City State and the salary is competitive and tax-free if you are or become resident in Italy.
