Mehta is looking for Chief Account officer who will be responsible for leading the Finance and Accounting Team in standalone operation at Kathwada GIDC, Ahmedabad.

**The Chief Account Officer is responsible for managing and supervising the regular Finance and accounting processes by driving and achieving the highest level of performance covering, accounts Receivables, accounts payable, month end closing, MIS Reporting, direct/indirect tax compliances, and business controlling. ** The role also involves managing teams across functional boundaries, both internal and external, developing, implementing, and evaluating strategic plans, goals, and objectives in alignment with the operations leaders Job Responsibilities

**Responsible for monthly P&L and Balance Sheet preparation for Management Reporting with emphasis on completeness, accuracy and high quality ** Responsible for budgeting, budgetary control for the plant operation in alignment with the operations leaders **Responsible for annual Statutory/tax audit with the statutory auditors ** Responsible to deliver daily, weekly, and monthly operational/financial reports to key stakeholders.

**Responsible for direct and indirect tax compliance for the entities covering GST/Income Tax/PF/ESCI/PT and other liabilities (Import & Export) in a manufacturing environment. ** To analyze operational and financial data, investigate variances, identify business drivers, and evaluate their impact on planned objectives.

**To ensure Policy adherence, Cost Control and pro-active approach toward problem solving ** Take lead and drive special projects with accountability & ownership. **Lead the team to drive improvement in financial processes through tools/systems, automation, leverage best practices and standardization.**

Promotion of good financial stewardship including control costs, driving forecast accuracy, driving balance sheet integrity and compliance. **Coordinate, interpret and respond to ad hoc accounting requests. ** Identify and share/implement the best practices and improve the processes.

Background & Skills **CA with 06 - 08 years of experience of handling F&A processes, experience into Leadership/People Manager role in Large Scale manufacturing industry. ** Experience of working in ERP Systems. **Should have strong exposure in MS Office tools ** Experience in Closing the Annual financials for a local entity for Statutory/tax filing. **Should be able to Question data and bring in more analytics in MIS reports. ** Strong business partnering; energetic and should possess excellent communication skills. **Self-motivator, perseverance, quick & flexible. ** Conflict Management; Decision Making; Critical thinking; Adaptability. **Ability to management stakeholders both internal as well as external. ** Ability to lead various projects in F&A functions for the entities. **Strong interpersonal skills toward stakeholder management ** Ability to plan, prioritize and deliver the results on time & with high quality. **Be proactive in mitigating risks in a timely manner by coordinating with relevant stakeholders. ** Track the progress of all KPI/CPI agreed with the management. **Guide, coach, and mentor the team to deliver effective services to the stakeholders. ** Help & promote thoughtful leadership & culture that drives top performance and high engagement **Be proactive in adopting to new tools and technologies approved by Mehta while imparting services in F&A Function Work Location ** Kathwada GIDC,
