Job Title: Safety Supervisor - Solar Industry

Location: JAMNAGAR,GUJARAT

Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Reporting To: HSE Manager / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and monitor all site safety procedures and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure all workers follow PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines.
- Conduct safety induction and training for new employees and subcontractors.
- Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near-misses with corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records, documentation, and reports as per company policy.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and mock drills at site.
- Support the implementation of ISO 45001 and other relevant safety standards.
- Ensure proper signage, barricading, and housekeeping at the work site.
- Liaise with client representatives and local authorities on safety-related matters.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Education: Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical preferred).
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor in solar, power plant, or construction industry.
- Knowledge: Familiar with safety practices for electrical works, working at height, and hot work.

Key Skills:

- Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulations.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle emergencies and make quick decisions.
- Proficient in MS Office and report preparation.
