Job Title: Safety Supervisor – Solar Industry

Location: JAMNAGAR,GUJARAT

Department: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

Reporting To: HSE Manager / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor all site safety procedures and ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
  • Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
  • Ensure all workers follow PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) guidelines.
  • Conduct safety induction and training for new employees and subcontractors.
  • Investigate and report all incidents, accidents, and near-misses with corrective actions.
  • Maintain safety records, documentation, and reports as per company policy.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and mock drills at site.
  • Support the implementation of ISO 45001 and other relevant safety standards.
  • Ensure proper signage, barricading, and housekeeping at the work site.
  • Liaise with client representatives and local authorities on safety-related matters.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical preferred).
  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience as a Safety Supervisor in solar, power plant, or construction industry.
  • Knowledge: Familiar with safety practices for electrical works, working at height, and hot work.

Key Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of HSE standards and regulations.
  • Good communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to handle emergencies and make quick decisions.
  • Proficient in MS Office and report preparation.
