Safety Supervisor at J.B Enterprise (working in Reliance Industries Ltd.)

Key Responsibilities:

- **Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
- **Training and Awareness**:

- Conduct safety induction programs and training for employees and contractors.
- Promote safety culture and awareness through workshops and campaigns.
- **Incident Management**:

- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of safety incidents.
- **Emergency Preparedness**:

- Develop and implement emergency response plans.
- Conduct drills and evaluate preparedness for handling emergencies.
- **Workplace Monitoring**:

- Monitor and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Oversee high-risk activities like working at heights, confined spaces, and hazardous material handling.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:

- Stay updated on applicable safety standards and ensure compliance with statutory norms.
- Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies during inspections.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with project teams to identify safety risks during planning and execution.
- Work closely with the HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) department to align safety strategies.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain safety documentation, including permits, licenses, and compliance certificates.
- Prepare monthly safety performance reports and present them to management.

Qualifications and Experience:

- **Educational Background**:

- Diploma in Industrial Safety / B.Sc. (Safety or related discipline).
- **Experience**:

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in safety.

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of safety standards and practices any industy preferred petrochemical industry.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize safety concerns effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive safety initiatives.
- Proficiency in using safety monitoring tools and software is a plus.

**Location**:

- Jamnagar, Gujarat, India

Preferred Certifications:

- NEBOSH/IOSH or similar safety certifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
