Position Summary

Educational Background

Bachelor’s degree in commerce and CA or CWA.

Professional Experience

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in the General accounting, taxation, and accounts payable preferably from service industry based in SEZ.

Job Responsibilities
- General Accounting

oManagement Information System - Month end Internal reporting as per US GAAP

oHandling all Inter Company Debit Note & Credit Note and related correspondences.

oPreparing of the Monthly Financial Schedules and review of accounts to ensure compliance with the policies and accounting standards.

oPreparation of financials as per IGAAP and statutory audit.
- Accounts payable process

oSingle Point of Contact for all accounts payable activities,

oCoordination with service provider for invoices processing and vendor payments.
- Tracking & Ensuring service levels and resolve issues.
- Responding to user/Vendor queries.
- Open purchase order review and closure.
- Vendors spend analysis.
- Contract management.
- Direct Taxes

o Monthly withholding tax deposition contractors and salaries.
- Quarterly withholding tax returns and filing
- Furnishing withholding tax certificates to vendors.
- Indirect Taxes
- Filing SEZ compliances MPR and SOFTEX.
- Monthly Purchase Invoice verification/validation by SEZ officer.
- SEZ approvals
- Custom clearance supervision for samples and products.
- Export Invoices
- GST Monthly and Annual returns
- Banking
- Bill filing and closure in EDPMS system.
- Program administration for Citibank Credit Card Program.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge
- Basic understanding of US GAAP and Indian GAAP
- Well versed with SAP ECC 6 FI module.
- Proficient in advance MS - excel.
- Awareness of Withholding tax rules as per Income Tax Act and GST.
