Role Overview

We are hiring on behalf of our client for the role of **Lead Instructor**. You will lead the main class session, develop engaging learning content, and mentor a team of Assistant Tutors. This role requires both teaching expertise and the ability to design simple, impactful lessons that demystify artificial intelligence for school-aged learners.

Key Responsibilities
1. **Instruction & Delivery**
- Conduct the **Main Class daily from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM** via Zoom.
- Manage and operate the Zoom classroom from **6:00 PM to 10:00 PM**, ensuring all sessions are ready and smooth.
- Deliver foundational AI concepts in an engaging, age-appropriate manner.
- Use interactive tools, visuals, and prompts to ensure high participation.

2. **Curriculum & Content Development**
- Design lesson plans aligned with the curriculum provided.
- Collaborate with the team to develop slides, assignments, and activities.
- Continuously refine content based on student feedback and comprehension.

3. **Team Mentorship & Support**
- Guide and support a team of Assistant Tutors.
- Conduct brief sync-ups or debriefs post-session to assess what worked.
- Review student insights shared by tutors and adjust instruction accordingly.

4. **Student Engagement & Learning Outcomes**
- Monitor student progress through performance and participation.
- Identify struggling students and coordinate interventions with tutors.
- Promote curiosity, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving.

5. **Operational Collaboration**
- Attend daily briefing at 5:30 PM for coordination with the team.
- Work closely with Classroom Operations Managers to ensure smooth delivery.
- Provide weekly academic reports or summaries.

Requirements & QualificationsEducation & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Education, AI, or related fields.
- **1-3 years of teaching experience**, preferably online.
- Prior experience in AI, coding, or EdTech is a strong plus.

Skills & Attributes
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to explain technical topics in a fun and simple way.
- Comfortable using Zoom, Google Slides, and other online tools.
- Strong time management and coordination skills.
- Passionate about AI, education, and working with school-age learners.

Bonus (Good to Have)
- Experience building or using AI tools.
- Exposure to project-based learning environments.
- Prior mentorship or team leadership experience.

Schedule & Availability
- Daily: 5:30 PM briefing, **Zoom classroom active from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM**:

- **Main Class from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM**:

- Expected availability**:4 hours/day**, **5 days/week**:

- Total weekly commitment**:20 hours/week** (including prep, meetings, and class time)
